Channing Tatum pens a letter to his daughter

Channing Tatum the actor, husband and father of one wrote an inspiring open letter to his three-year-old daughter Everly for Cosmopolitan.

In order to honor “Magic Mike Opening” in Las Vegas, Cosmopolitan asked the actor to write something for the readers. That is when he opened his heart and poured out thoughts about his daughter. He says :

“I tried to imagine the things I’d want her to read that would help her understand men and sex and partnership better, and at that moment, I realized a strange thing,” he wrote. “I don’t want her looking to the outside world for answers. My highest hope for her is just that she has the fearlessness to always be her authentic self, no matter what she thinks men want her to be.”

He further adds:

“And that’s what I want for my daughter — to be expectation-less with her love and not allow preconceived standards to affect her, to ask herself what she wants and feel empowered enough to act on it.”

“In my opinion and experience, Everly has appeared to adjust to our separation and living in two homes exceptionally well. I believe that she will thrive even more with structure and consistency because she is happy and more relaxed when she knows a plan.”

He further states that he has tastefully decorated his daughter’s room and has shown inclination towards artist like Jackson Pollock. So the doting father has made arrangements so she can try and replicate the works and also have a good time when she is with her daughter
